Review: Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila

Review: Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila

After a week of a hectic schedule, it is great to have a little treat and stay (apparently spontaneously) at one of the prime hotels in Bonifacio Global City.

Just a few steps from my work building, Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila is one of the known upscale service apartments that provide an amazing experience of hospitality.

Update October 20, 2019: Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila was just recently awarded as the Philippines' Leading Serviced Apartment 2019 by World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania, for the 4th-year.

Although I only spent an overnight at this place, it was a breathtaking experience, and never regret spending a spontaneous expense because I got a good sleep and rest. I never got a chance to roam around its other amenities as I am already feeling very comfortable in my 1-bedroom executive which makes me want to just enjoy my slumber while watching the new episode of Lucifer Morningstar (gosh that dude is sexy!).

This room is indeed impressive. Floors are fully carpeted like walking in a cloud without hearing your own shoes. Well spacious lounge and a window with a good view overlooking the beauty of The Fort at night.

And I wouldn’t mind inviting someone for a cooking session with this all-equipped kitchen available. And if you are staying here for a week for business, you wouldn’t worry about where to send your laundry because this unit got its own impressive washer.

Another thing that I am impressed with is the spacious bathroom of my own. Equipped with this amazing deep-soaking bath, ready to make me feel relaxed in an hour of warm bubble bath while listening to the old melody of Henry Mancini (yup I love classic), and a glass of champagne – I knew it is one of the best relaxing night I had. Those L’Occitane toiletries are really good… so good that I didn’t use the extras and decided to take them home. You see, I don’t like wasting good stuff!

Even taking a selfie for my adorable boyfriend is good with these dim lights on.

By the way, morning is quite nice with this free coffee and tea. Did I mention these are Nespresso?!

Breakfast at ALTA Restaurant

Review: Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila
My overnight stay comes with a free buffet breakfast at ALTA by the famous Chef Margarita Fore located on the 2nd floor. If you have a habit of waking up early in the morning and enjoying a good breakfast, you should do that too when you stayed here at Ascott BGC. They’ve got a good selection of food on that day. It’s been a while since I dined with them, but I heard this place is now called Scotts.

Review: Ascott Bonifacio Global City Manila
Whether it is (still) ALTA or Scotts, I will dine again in this restaurant. Maybe my next dinner date will be here.

Other Amenities:

Aside from the good valet service that they have on the ground floor, they also have this eye-catchy swimming pool – it was just a shame I don’t have time to enjoy it.

They also have a fully airconditioned fitness center, so no need to squeeze on another gym nearby.

You can also host your own party or business meetings with Ascott, as they have impressive meeting rooms and function halls, fully equipped with all your needs that feel like you have your own office.

After all, you can’t deny the good feeling of sitting in a good place with a nice view, right?

Verdict

It was an amazing experience even just for an overnight stay. Maybe next time I will make sure my boyfriend is with me so we can enjoy the whole weekend. I’d like to try their sauna!
