You’ve probably seen them on a regular basis especially if you are spending most of your time on the internet. Young influencers (and maybe your next-door neighbor) tend to edit their pictures with this theme, and it focuses on anything that is trendy but with an edgy twist.
Though I’m not too adventurous in trying some new styles, recently I find some styling tips that I thought suit my current lifestyle, hobbies, and passion. After all, fashion is another way to express ourselves to the world.
According to our many friends from Urban Dictionary, a baddie is defined as someone who can take care of herself/himself, still looks fabulous in a sweatshirt, loungewear (probably something borrowed from a boyfriend) or a loungewear and co-ords, a person who doesn’t give take BS from nobody.
Basically, being a baddie is not only a style – it is an attitude. A girl-boss vibe that is ready to rock the world.
The best way to explain the look in a simple equation is your fave TikToker wearing high-waisted jeans, a crop top with a sporty, athleisure twist, everything’s on fleek kinda vibe, no set color pallet, it can be an oversized-tee and biker’s shorts, but mostly paired with your coolest sneakers available.
Even adding a few retro artifacts like flip-phones, or cassette tapes upcycled into an accessory. It all comes down to your personal styling, as long as it looks cool.
More on the vibe if you're still a bit confused: To look like a baddie—per my deep and thorough studies thanks to the Interweb and Gen Z'ers—means rocking a sporty and/or street-style look with some bold accessories and glam makeup. Of course, you can make the trend your own however you feel comfortable wearing it, but these are the fashion specifics the look was born from. So, if you're into loose-fitting denim, cropped sweatshirts, tracksuits, flirty bodysuits, and co-ords sets, and honestly anything with Y2K energy, you need to get on board the baddie train, mate!
Remember, it will look like the real deal baddie if you will add your authentic baddie attitude as well.

I've been into coords loungewear sets lately and I'm obsessed with it! Easy to wear and style plus it's super comfy. Aaand, asian fashion on Tiktok (which I think where the asian baddie aesthetics came from) has really changed my sense of style.
