Although not a typical boutique hotel that is situated in the main town of Ligao City, the Elkanville Boutique Hotel is a place where you will feel comfortable and sense of peace whenever you travel in the Albay Region.

Situated along the Ligao-Tabaco Bypass Road about 9 minutes away from the main town, this hotel is one of the places that we can consider reliable and safe to stay either for overnight or for a weekend stay.

Accommodation

My husband and I stayed in this place back in 2019 and during our recent trip last December 2022. I guess you can say that it is fate because we stayed in the same room! Note that during our Philippine travel, we don’t book our accommodation days in advance, and maybe just our luck that the Elkanville Boutique Hotel opens its doors for us a few hours before our arrival.

We enjoyed every moment that we stayed at this property. The Queen-sized bed along with its comfortable 800-thread counts of sheets is perfectly comfortable for us during a tiring day. Rooms are fully airconditioned, with free WIFI access, complimentary coffee, and tea delights with free use of kettle, the usual pair of bath toiletries, cable TV, and telephone access in case you need room assistance.

The Elkanville Boutique Hotel’s outdoor heated lap pool is undeniably the highlight of their accommodation. If you are traveling with kids, you can enjoy their kiddie pool which is also heated.

Food and other comforts

The Elkanville Boutique Hotel has its own restaurant and café which offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner and offers a good variety in their menu. They also have a good selection of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks, and juices in cans.

On our first night, we had the pesto cream, and crispy skin salmon both were such delights!

But breakfast is something that we enjoyed a lot. Breakfast is part of the accommodation, and it would be a waste not to take it. They had this Filipino breakfast that we absolutely love.

Apart from the average continental breakfast, nothing beats the Pinoy-style breakfast that even my Aussie husband loves the most. Good on tummy and perfect to start the day of adventure!

Pool and Jacuzzi Rates

Apparently, you can enjoy the hotel’s lap pool without booking a room. Elkanville Boutique Hotel welcomes you for a weekend escape and enjoy the pool with your family and friends. Fees apply for the use of the pool and jacuzzi, and when you bring your own food and alcoholic drinks.

Adults: Php500.00 each (from 11 years old and above)

Children: Php250.00 each (from 3 to 10 years old)

Inclusions are:

• Allowable usage of the pool for a maximum of 5 hours (and additional fees apply for extended hours).

• Complimentary snacks, and pool towel usage.

Jacuzzi Rates – Php1,800 per hour for 10 people

• Pool hours from 7AM to 9PM only

• Pool-side tables are free of charge; first-come, first serve.

Corkage fees:

• Food – Php1,000

• Drinks both alcohol and non-alcoholic – Php1,000

Home away from home

What we love about this place is its peacefulness, probably because it is a bit far from the main city. We also experienced a bad storm during our stay, and yet they have a standby generator that runs everything smoothly.

Frankly, we truly appreciate the hard work of their staff, and how accommodating they are, including the awesome security guard on duty at night during the bad storm, when we arrived a bit late at night.

Whenever we visit Albay soon, we will not think twice about staying with Elkanville Boutique Hotel. The hospitality is something that is quite hard to receive recently, however, they made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and safe.
