Yeah, I know it is Melbourne Fashion Week until this weekend, however, I chose to be at home and do my long list of work that I initially paused due to my recent interstate trip.
Although it would be lovely to be in the city and join the crowd of stylish people, and for once see Melbourne with colorful fits and not the usual full black North Face co-ord, the idea of being in the comfort of my home office is still a no-brainer option.
However, I could re-wear this dopamine outfit I recently made using remnants of textiles I’ve bought from the op shop. The first time I wore this outfit was during the Pharaoh Exhibition in NGV.
For context, here’s my TikTok video on how I made this dress.

It took me almost two weeks organizing the right materials, and crocheting this dress, including staring at it for a long time contemplating if I did it right, or should I start in the beginning coz it didn’t catch my current vibe.
Good thing, I managed to gather my thoughts and finally decided to go with the flow. My materials will tell if I need to shift in a different direction or continue pushing.
The olive-ish green dress is a piece I bought from Cotton On 3 years ago and paired with my tangerine Converse which I love coz it makes me taller!
I reckon this outfit is good enough to get me noticed by the snobbish street-style photographer.
Okay, perhaps I’ll go on the next leg of the Melbourne Fashion Week.
What do you think?
