Osonho Portuguese Fusion Restaurant

12:00:00 AM
It was one busy Thursday and every lunch time, I always wonder what my lunch will be. Having a strict veggie diet for weeks is tough but I’m getting used to it, but sometimes having a cheat-day doesn't hurt. Luckily, a friend of mine introduced Foodie.ph to me – a 24/7 online delivery service that is user-friendly and has lots of restaurant choices.

If I will opt for a delivery service, I decided to choose a restaurant just near my office in Ayala Avenue. Out of curiosity, I decided to order something from Osonho Portuguese Restaurant. I’ve heard a lot of good reviews about it and I wanted to try something different.

Osonho Portuguese Fusion Restaurant is the one of the modern dining restaurants in Makati City, which serves delectable cuisine at reasonable prices and enjoyable portions. They also accept orders for delivery via their partner site Foodie.ph. They delivered it on-time and without any hassles.

For the main course, I ordered Peri peri Chicken on Fragrant Chicken Rice and Seafood Paella / Paella do Mar. And for my salad I chose House Greens / Casa Salada Verde.

Enjoy the Fine Dining at Chateau 1771

10:19:00 AM

Chateau 1771 is now multi-acclaimed fine dining restaurant. Consider as one on Manila's best and an institution by many, it is well-known for its patented "No Borders Cuisine" - delectable innovation on Swiss, French, and Italian favorites prepared with plenty of flair and imagination to suit the Filipino palate for a generation to date, Chateau 1771 continues develop a loyal following among Filipinos and even foreigners and expatriates.

Nothing makes me feel happier than having a sumptuous meal and relaxing to a very chic European-inspired place like Chateau 1771. This is what I like about spending my free time in Greenbelt - good restaurants, good food, and lots of interesting people. Here are some of my captured photo using my iPhone 3G. I really enjoyed the place, echoing soft relaxing Spanish music, very chic feels like you are in simple place in Europe.

Their mushroom soap makes me crave for more. As we say in our local dialect, "Soup palang, ulam na!"

Though I've cut my meat consumption and switch to eating more veggies (yes I'm semi-vegetarian now!) I can't resist their roasted lamb. So nice to chew because of their softness and the taste so intense that you will  crave more. I've just took just one serving, hehehe which is enough for me.

.. And of course my favorite Caesar Salad! They prepared it neatly and nicely that everyone will enjoy eating it even you are not a vegetarian :) I am inviting you all to have a quick trip to Chateau 1771 located at Greenbelt 5, Makati City. Fine dining with style.

Barcino Wine Resto Bar: a Special Place for Special People

8:39:00 AM

My first wine tasting experience is with my loving Dad. He taught me his knowledge about the importance that I should know about wines, its bouquet, its palate, and also their color. Since then I acquired those knowledge from Dad, I overcome the awkwardness to try different wines.

I always find Barcino a special place to dine with my special friends. I mean, maybe because of its unidentified feeling about its cozy Spanish interior, and how they specifically arrange their wine selections. I was so inspired that I finally took these photos from my recent dinner with a friend.

Another thing I like about this place is how they entertain their customers thru a very approachable manners, pleasant smiles, and of course the classic Spanish music playing in the background. I am a fan of Jennifer Lopez's Spanish musics, especially the "No Me Ames (or Don't Love Me)" , and this is the place that I could here these classics. By the way I dine at their branch in Greenbelt 2. I'm just wishing that they have branch in The Fort too!

This place is very good to relax and unwind with intellectual friends of mine. Photos taken using my Apple iPhone 3GS

Have you ever tried dining at some wine restaurants in town?

MIYABI - Japanese Fine Dining and Sushi Bar

4:05:00 PM

Located at the 2nd Floor, Adriatico Square, Pan Pacific Manila - Miyabi Restaurant is my favorite spot to hang-out and spend my lovely dinner. Each time I went to Malate, Miyabi is always on my list.

Here's their wide selections of menu, that I myself can't memorized. Coz all I think is "I'm hungry and I want to eat Miyabi cuisine now!"

The simplicity of the interior makes this restaurant a pleasant to dine-in and to have a peaceful moment, while appreciating your food. I also love how the staffs pleasantly greets their customers, and gives an extra mile to their services. Very tidy indeed.

My Japanese special friend, whom I'm with during my visit shows me the proper Japanese table etiquette. He said a lot of things and explanations. The arrangement represents the yin and yang whatever... but the only thing that I remember is "The hashi (chopstick) always comes with the stand. Without it, it's unlucky."
