How’s you weekend my fabulous and gorgeous readers? Wherever you are and what you are doing while reading my latest post, I hope that you are doing well…. And if not, please at least SMILE!
Having a smile on your face, helps to ease the negative vibes you are feeling.
It will be alright
Few weeks ago, my office guard happily phoned me that someone sent me a package.
He told me it was a PINK box!
OMG My heart was palpitating with joy! I always got excited when this package arrived.
PS. turns-out its not PINK but GOLD!
And whenever my package from ALTHEA KOREA arrives, I never that whatever the contents inside makes me to happy. But still it always surprises me.
I was in a total bliss that I even managed to film a short unboxing here:
It was an awesome Monday, and yes I got a humongous surprise from @altheakorea . They gave me this beautiful CNY themed box, with all the latest #kbeauty skincare that will help me to protect my skin from pollution of this big city. They all comes in full sizes and its crazy! Am excited to try and test these skincare products and share to you my verdicts. But for now let me share you this quick unboxing! Pardon me for my weird voice and accent, and also for mispronouncing those Korean brands because, ehem is my first time to encounter these products, but am pretty sure I will enjoy them all. 😂 Erratum: The Wonder Pore Freshner Toner is NOT from Missha, its from Etude House (my bad) 😂 More detailed stories soon to be available at ForUrbanWomen.com #altheakoreaph #altheakorea #althea #skincare #heathyskincare #koreanskincare #koreancosmetics #koreanbeauty #beauty #bblogger #beautyblogger #beautybloggerph #unboxing #influencer #healthy #review #skincareaddict #Asian #antipollution
And even though I was a bit nervous and alone filming myself, I still had that little doubts if I could make it. I mean, I’ve never shared an unboxing video like this before. And at the back of my head, I was a little afraid that some experts there will judge me and my video. But….
I don’t care anymore! This is my website, my property, my online empire…. And I shouldn’t be affected on whatever so-called experts says, unless their expertise are invited so.
Yes… I know, I know am also like a kid in a candy-store-and-shopped-candies-until-I-dropped!
And why wouldn’t I? My favourite Korean online e-commerce store surprisingly sent me this box with super generous contents. And I got so thrilled to use them all for past weeks, and am here to share you one-by-one its contents, because am sure these products are also unfamiliar to you.
Let me tell you first how much I like their new designed box for Chinese New Year. The gold box designed with a delicate Chinese prints in red and metallic gold makes this a box exudes opulence.
Gold and red are two super lucky colors in Chinese and Asian cultures and this themed-box is a perfection. It is truly shamed if you ladies throw this kind of box after consuming its contents.
I will treasure it just like my other ALTHEA KOREA boxes. (Or perhaps I could recycle it soon!).
What I’ve got is part of their monthly themed-box called Anti-Pollution box.
It contains of Eight (8) auspicious surprises - 7 Korean beauty products and a discount coupon from ALTHEA KOREA, all carefully curated by ALTHEA KOREA team to suit very customers’ skin-type to fight against the monstrosity of pollution that damages our skin.
Pollution is indeed evil. Not only it ruins our inner health, but also destroys our skin leading us to ugliness and faster ageing.

After a very tiring long day, I am always craving to go home and start washing off those make-up and dirt off my face. Yes, I love make-up just like you do but my skin needs to breath and be free with those colors and dirt.
Cleansing my face with Camia Rooibos Cleansing Water (300ml) helps me to easily washed-off those make-up and dirt all over my face and neck. It contains a rooisbos tea extract that came from South Africa, and contains sparkling water the removes dirt and nourishes my skin at the same time. Never leaves my skin dry and rough unlike the other cleansers I’ve used.
Some of you might be allergic to using cleansing oils to remove your heavy make-up so this Camia Rooisbos Cleansing water might be suitable to your skin. This is also god when you always travel – just refill your small travel container with this cleansing water and make sure to close it tightly so it won’t spill and won’t cause you travel inconveniences.
PS Because of its huge container (am not sure if this is available in a small size) this would honestly be mistaken as a mineral drinking water, so please be extra careful not to just lay it around your house (unless you are living alone).
Calmia Rooibos cleansing water, doesn’t have mixed oil or any residue at the bottom of the bottle so definitely someone might mistake this as drinking water. Or even don’t leave your cleansing water together with your bottled drinking water inside your fridge
My makeup is all gone now after clearing it with Calmia Rooibos and it was amazing. Although it didn’t thoroughly removes my mascara as I’ve used an awesome brand that doesn’t removes that easily.
So I need to use another oil-based cleanser to help me wiped it off completely.
After initially removing my make-up, I’ve tied my hair up and changed my clothes for a more comfortable cleansing session.
Am a huge fan of Korean double cleansing technique, so I got excited to try this yummylicious-looking Jamong Cleansing Balm by Hope Girl. This is perfect timing, as I’ve already emptied my previous cleansing oil, and using a new brand is like an adventure for me.
It has a light pinkish-color and also includes a scraper for the cleansing balm. It gently cleanses my face and completely removes the mascara that wasn’t removes by Calmia Rooisbos cleansing water.
It smells a mixed of grapefruit and a hint of citrus, and it easily blends to your skin and removes those dirt. I like this cleansing balm because it won’t spill and of course the obvious reason – its super attractive packaging!
Just let your Mom know that this is your cleansing balm because she might mistaken this as a candle, or a lipbalm, LOL.
I leaved it to my face for 2-3-minutes them washed it off with warm water.
Then for my second part of double-cleansing, I used Deep Clear Cleansing Foam from Missha.
Another yummylicious packaging (Oh my why Korean cosmetics always do this!) this cleansing foam helps me to get off those excess dirt and tighten my pores.
I also like this cleansing foam as it gently tighten and stretches my face. It is also unscented and comes in a huge package which I estimated can be used up to 3 to 4 months, which is a good deal for me.
It’s now my favourite double cleansing angel along with Hope Girl Jamong Cleansing Balm.
After washing of my face – time for some pampering galore!
After toning and applying my favourite essence and serums, am now ready to indulge myself to some moisturizer. My current favourite is this Perfect Moisture Cream from Onsaemeein. What I do love about it is, it has a gentle watery texture (a bit similar to the moisturizer from Japanese brand – CURE) that is very easy to apply and absorbs perfectly which leaves that smooth bouncy texture!
I love it that am starting to get addicted to it effect!
And during day time, I never forgot to apply my favourite sunscreen protection – It’s My Sun Cream with SPF 45/ PA+++
So these are my current Korean beauty skincare favourites and I hope that you’ve learned something from my review. And I do hope that you could get this amazing limited-edition ALTHEA KOREA box because you’ll never ever regret it.
If you haven’t tried to order at ALTHEA KOREA, I suggest you try their beauty shopping app! You can check my shopping experience here, which I find shopping via app much easier, less complicated, and user-friendly!
