Bonifacio Global City is becoming more progressive every year. Back then, most of the areas are bare and muddy, and now it is one of the most expensive CBD in Manila. In addition to many hotel openings, which gives many options for travelers and vacationers travelling to the city.
One of the early hotels I have tried is the F1 Suites located at the Fort Palm Spring Condominium along 30th Street and 1st Avenue. I think this is one of the convenient address in the city, surrounded by many offices, various banks, a few walks to Burgos Circle and Forbestown which houses many restaurants and cafes, and a grocery store inside the Forbestown mall, and the building is also nearby the hospital (in case of emergency).
So when I took a weekend at F1 Suites, I did not expect anything grandeur. However, there are some few points that makes this humble place quite impressive to my taste.
Upon entering the building, you’ll noticed these two reception desk – one for the Palm Spring Condominium per se, and the other for F1 Suites which they manages several floors and rooms for their clientele. After validating my reservation, I was given a key to my room at the 14th floor – a loft style room, with high ceilings, with limited furniture and fixtures and décor.
The loft-style, studio unit has its own kitchen area and two bathrooms. It is quite spacious and good for a group of occupant guests, but quite too much for me who just visited for a weekend. I mean, I do not need too much spaces, much more a loft-type place. The whole concept of this suite is like a service apartment.
A spacious living area with humble size sofa, a good carpet and glass table (which I think is not ideal for the place), a telephone, a flat screen television and fully air-conditioned space.
Although I am not a diva in the kitchen, this place impressed me. This decent size notable kitchenette looks is perfect for you especially if you stays for longer period and you prefer to cook at home.
They have small refrigerator, an electric stove, rice cooker and microwave open, and complete kitchen utensils stored in the upper cupboard.

Next to the kitchen is the 1st bathroom and shower with complete toiletries. I think it would be inconvenient if there were only one bathroom in this place.
Then on front of the bathroom door located this two-seater wooden dining table. I may say that the furniture I find it awkwardly located inside and they should add a more decent dining furniture.
The bedroom area is located upstairs, which I find it inconvenient. This wooden stairs is quite slippery so you have to be careful on your steps going up and down to avoid accidents (I almost tripped down). Find it too tiring going up and down, truly not a huge fan of stairs (in I may say).
BTW, I bought this Barbie doll just out of a whim because I find her gorgeous and I like that her arms and legs can bend. And after a weeks of letting it stay in my room, I decided to send it off to my little sister who does really collects these kind of doll. And I know that she will feel more appreciated.

The lower view from the loft. Spacious, right?! You can host a small house party with your friends here.
You will also noticed how short-steps the stairs so you should very careful especially going down. With these steps, I would advise to not let your small kids play in this area.
I have noticed that the furniture looks similar (this closet, the TV stand, dining table, etc.), maybe they got it from one supplier. That closet is also spacious for your weekend stuffs, and I like this full sized mirror. Another flat-screen television in the bedroom and there is another bathroom next to the bed area.
This kind-size bed is comfortable enough for a tiring body due to frequent going up and down the stairs, lol. When I stayed here 2-years ago, the overnight room rates charges, Php4,900++ (tax not yet included), for a short term lease. I may guess that if you are planning for a long term (like 2 weeks or so), the F1 Suites management will quote you their best price. Considering that they have its own kitchenette, this unit is quite affordable I may say. However, best to stay here for more than a week.
They also have an outdoor pool, which I believe is shared with the condominium residents. I did not bother having a peek, coz I am not a fan of crowded swimming pool.
Verdict:
Overall, this unit at F1 Suites is also a good one, but I recommend that they should add some flair and make this unit more homey. Seeing many blank spaces makes this place too cold and not so welcoming. If you were planning to stay with kids, I would not recommend you to stay unless your kids are very used to stairs. Breakfast are not included in all stay, so you have choices to dine-out or opt to cook your own meals.

Hotel Ratings: 3 star out of 5, for a service apartment.
Have you stayed in F1 Suites before?
