By now, I assume that you’ve already watched the most trending Netflix Original TV series Squid Game, and just like millions of viewers worldwide, I also got lots of questions and feeling about this tv series.
Like, is there a Season 2????
The whole episodes keep my heart pumping, felt angry for some scenes, and cry a lot.
Explaining the winning strategy in playing tug-of-war is truly remarkable.
And then reality hits me – that many people will do desperately everything, just to win the jackpot – by hook or by crook.
The reality of life is all blown in our faces, such as the problems of gambling, homelessness, the huge gap between rich and poor, the struggle of migrants, racism, and other inequality in the society.
There is no point in making my own review about Squid Game coz we can all agree that this is phenomenal! Thanks, Netflix, for releasing it worldwide and translated it into English (although I wounded mind watching it in the Korean language).
So, while watching the 2nd episode of Squid Game, I realized that two months, I bought a fleece fabric remnant (in color green) from my favorite op shop in Korrumbarra. I got so excited and decided to keep Squid Game as my companion while making my own Squid Game green outfit.

I used the same pattern that I used for my DIY Mickey Mouse jumper co-ord, just to make everything simpler. Since my fabric is quite limited in measure, I opt to just make a jumper and shorts, instead of making pants. Well, it seems that my plan works.
Luckily, I also kept some white cotton fabric remnants from my previous school uniform upcycling project. I always kept even the small fabric remnants coz they were still useful for me.
I sketched the numbers ‘8’ because this number is a lucky number in feng shui – of course, I wouldn’t choose the death number ‘4’. Using the applique technique, I decided to hand-sewn the numbers to my jumper for a much cleaner look.

I most probably buy lots of small properties here around in Australia, and in the Philippines to keep my investment safe and secured. Real estate property is always a good investment. Then I will build a small center teaching kids and women creative crafts.
Definitely, I wouldn’t give away my winnings so easily coz it did costs my life, and money should be used properly, not the other way around.

DeletePrior to reading this post, I must admit I had never heard of Squid Game, but now I am definitely intrigued. Love how you were able to make the outfit and it really does fit well on you. Perhaps they will make a season 2 and before then, I hope to have seen the first season's content.
