18 Beauty Products You Must Avoid AF Based on FDA Advisory

18 Beauty Products You Must Avoid AF Based on FDA Advisory
Hello Girlfriends!

We've been using and testing lots of beauty products available in the market and admit it - it's becoming our undying hobby.

And the feeling of so much delight all traced in our faces when we finally found the ONE cosmetics that perfectly suits our skin type.

It's like heaven sent, right?

But what if after using it for weeks you finally discovered its' not really heavenly.

And you read that your beauty products are in RED FLAG based on the government regulation.

We've just celebrate the Halloween and partying with our favorite scary costumes, but nothing is more scary AF when you realized your beauty and cosmetic products are NOT VERIFIED BY FDA.

Last October 26, 2016 the Food and Drug Administration, under Department of Health issued a Public Health Warning for consumers for these eighteen 18 beauty and cosmetic products  that are not verified by FDA. Check the advisory below and many your favorite one is here:

Scary AF right? Honestly I felt HORRIFIED!

Noticed the some products of ETUDE HOUSE are included. According to the Etude House Philippines, products listed here are FAKES. They also issued an advisory on their Facebook account yesterday November 3rd regarding buying counterfeit products.

This Korean brand is one of the popular brands here in the Philippines, and as a client I am also worried. I also bought a ETUDE HOUSE Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit from their branch at Glorietta months ago (so far I haven't experienced any bad side-effects, but never had a chance to post a review).

Remember that also a year ago (October 2015) Etude House sued Lazada for selling Etude House products online.

  15. I think we have lots of beauty products these days in the market and you almost get confused on choosing the best one as every brand comes with big promises. This list could be so much helpful as it would be best to avoid such products completely in future & create awareness on the same as well.

    1. I agree Lisa. Even me sometimes got too confused with tons of beauty products. Of course even there are already cosmetics that works on me, there is still that craving of want to try something new and discovering new cosmetics that will works on my skin type. And ways along that journey are problems like this issue.

We have to be always careful.

  16. Wow I never knew you could get your hands on a list like this. Thanks for sharing. Also, I know there is a lot of fake make up going on these days for cheaper prices. I think it always seems to be best to buy from the actual source.

    1. Many fake make-up are arising because of increasing demands from clients, and also some of the customers can't afford the legit cosmetics, so they are opt to buy cheaper ones (not knowing its fake).

  21. I saw this on my feeds too! I think most products included are what people refer to as SG Authentic cosmetics though of course there is no such thing and it's just fake. Good thing Etude released a statement as well since I've been using their BB cream for awhile now.

    1. Yes same as I thought. There are also many Singapore-made cosmetics but most are not middle-end cosmetics like Etude House. Etude House are only made in South Korea.
